PMO ESTABLISHMENT ...
The Project Management Office (PMO) is the department or group that defines and maintains the standards of process related to project management within the organization. The PMO strives to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. The PMO is the source of documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution.

AT PCSS we implement PMO’s based on the project management principles of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) published by Project Management Institute (PMI).

The Standish Group report, "CHAOS Summary 2009," reported that this year's results showed a marked decrease in project success rates, with only 32% of all projects were completed successfully, meaning they are delivered on time, within budget and to the clients required specification.

There are many reasons for such mass failures however inadequate project management implementation constitutes 32% of project failures, lack of communication constitutes 20% and unfamiliarity with scope and complexity constitutes 17%. Accordingly 69% of project failures are due to lack and/or improper implementation of project management methodologies.
